Pale yellow-gold color with a lovely bouquet of orange blossom, honeysuckle, white peach, Anjou pear, tangerine zest, and marzipan. The well delineated, fleshy palate offers notes of nectarine, Anjou pear, tangerine zest, and nuances of smoky minerality, saffron, and ginger. The lees expression from batonnage is evident in the slightly broad texture and nutty nuances. This wine offers freshness and richness in equal measure. This wine is drinking beautifully now but it should benefit from short term cellaring.
