Winter is upon us and is usually a slow time, however in the vineyard it is time to start pruning the vines. Pruning is one of the more important tasks that we do in the vineyard. This helps us to set up the amount of fruit that we will receive for the up coming year. We need to make sure that we have enough fruit to supply wine for everyone but not so much that it diminishes the quality of the wines.
